There are many tracks heading north from Itchen Abbas, some more accessible than others. This 7.4km/4.6 mile route is on a combination of quiet country roads, farm tracks, and grassy paths. The roads and farm tracks are accessible with a wheelchair, but the grassy paths require off-road/all terrain wheels.
Parking in Itchen Abbas Village Hall, the route heads north on Northington Road to the crossroads. Turn right along the road and follow the loop either way, turning left into a footpath just after Spreadoak Cottages or the farm track north of the top of Rectory Lane.
