Another walk from Holden Farm (see Holden Farm - The Milburys, South Downs Way), near Cheriton.
This is a 6km/3.7 mile circular walk, heading north out of Holden Farm across the A272 and along The South Downs Way in the direction of Winchester before looping back towards Cheriton, and closing the loop just north of the A272 again. An off road buggy/wheelchair is required. The route is mostly dirt or grass tracks.
The suggested direction is to walk round the loop in a clockwise direction. We walked anti-clockwise and couldn’t find any way markers or trails at our northernmost point, resulting in a slightly shorter route than planned. Open OS Maps in new window.
Parking - Holden Farm (Cheriton, nr Alresford SO24 0NX) is a working farm, with a campsite and cafe from April to September. Walkers and cyclists are welcome.
